Kingsville, Texas Information
Kingsville is a city in and the county seat of Kleberg County, Texas, United States.[3] The population was 26,213 at the 2010 census. It is the principal city of the Kingsville Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is part of the larger Corpus Christi-Kingsville Combined Statistical Area.
Kingsville was formed in 1904 and named after Captain Richard King, owner of the King Ranch.

Kingsville is located at 27°30′54″N 97°51′56″W / 27.515°N 97.86556°W (27.515024, -97.865507)[4].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.9 square miles (36 km2), of which 13.8 square miles (36 km2) are land and 0.04-square-mile (0.10 km2) of it (0.22%) is water.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 25,575 people, 8,943 households, and 6,134 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,848.8 people per square mile (714.0/km²). There were 10,427 housing units at an average density of 753.8 per square mile (291.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 71.10% White, 4.34% African American, 0.63% Native American, 1.73% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 18.81% from other races, and 3.32% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 67.06% of the population.
There were 8,943 households out of which 34.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.1% were married couples living together, 14.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.4% were non-families. 23.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.73 and the average family size was 3.28.
In the city the population was spread out with 26.8% under the age of 18, 17.3% from 18 to 24, 27.1% from 25 to 44, 18.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 28 years. For every 100 females there were 99.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.6 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $27,624, and the median income for a family was $31,882. Males had a median income of $31,308 versus $19,586 for females. The per capita income for the city was $13,003. About 22.6% of families and 28.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 37.1% of those under age 18 and 15.4% of those age 65 or over.
